Step into the secretive world of magicians, and their trickery, with a magic workshop run by Ava Beaux.
In this workshop, Ava will begin by entertaining the group with her own unique style of magic, before teaching a selection of magic tricks using a variety of props. If participants are feeling brave, they can also showcase their new skills to the group at the end. This is completely optional, though due to the relaxed and supportive nature of the workshops, many are keen to do this.
With parts of the experience devoted to scripting, misdirection, confidence, and performance skills, guests leave with a lot more than the magic tricks themselves, including a newfound confidence performing to a group of people. Each person is also given access to a small, digital workbook. This booklet contains instructions for all the magic tricks learnt in the session, as well as information on how they can continue learning magic in their own time, as many will find the workshop leaves them craving more!
The workshop is designed for beginners, so professional magicians should not book these sessions. However, those who have dabbled into magic before, or learnt a few tricks, will still learn a lot.
Ava first ran these workshops in collaboration with Yuup Bristol, and they were hosted at The Square Club, Bristol.
Individual tickets are no longer being sold, and the workshops are instead only available for private, and corporate events. They work particularly well for corporate team building days, and also small private events, such as birthday parties or hen-dos.
